"Stanton Williams were awarded the contract on the basis of an excellent track record in delivering first class design projects in an innovative and sustainable way with a sound proposal for legacy mode. The Eton Manor site is steeped in sporting history and we want to recapture this and regenerate the area with well designed, world-class facilities fit for the Olympic and Paralympic stage. The ODA is looking forward to taking this very exciting project to the next level."John Armitt, Chairman of the ODA

"Eton Manor will provide key facilities and venues for Olympic and Paralympics athletes at Games time and also leave a legacy of the best sports facilities for Londoners to use and enjoy well beyond 2012."Sebastian Coe, the Chairman of the London 2012 Organising Committee

Our competition-winning elegant designs for the Eton Manor Olympic site gave careful consideration to the future legacy of the site, connection to the surroundings and ability to inspire athletes. The site will be developed in three stages providing

- world-class training facilities for the London 2012 Olympics, including temporary aquatic training facilities and changing facilities

- a venue for the Paralympics tennis events, including 9 competition tennis courts with temporary seating for 10,500 spectators, as well as ticket control point, merchandising and food points and further training and changing facilities.

- a legacy of a permanent, flexible 5,000 seat hockey stadium and indoor tennis centre, including changing facilities, along with other community sporting and leisure facilities.
