“fascinating, innovative exhibition”.Lorraine Jones of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s museum
This ground-breaking exhibition created by working closely with the curatorial team, brought together a range of more than 250 objects from medical and art collections worldwide. Works of art included the anatomical drawings of Leonardo, Michelangelo and Stubbs, and paintings by masters including Rembrandt, Hogarth, and Degas.
The works were shown in a new context alongside medical instruments, drawings used in the medical study of the human body, and life-size anatomical models.
