Stanton Williams wins first place at German Museum competition

Stanton Williams have been awarded first place at the competition for the Museum of Concrete Art and Design in Ingolstadt, South Germany, beating a high profile group of competitors. DFZ Architekten from Hamburg share first place. Third Place was awarded to Querkraft Architekten, fourth place went to Zaha Hadid Architects and fifth place went to Dömges und Fischer Generalplanung.

The competition was looking for design solutions to transform a 19th Century foundry into the new home for the Museum of Concrete Art and Design, as part of the wider regeneration of the foundry site.

Other international museum projects of Stanton Williams include the Stadtmuseum in Berlin, Germany, and the Musée d'Art de Nantes, France.
