The Architecture Centre in Bristol opened in September 1996 as the first purpose-built architecture centre in the country. Over the past two decades we have inspired and involved hundreds of thousands of people in shaping better places – in Bristol and beyond. To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the Architecture Centre are hosting a programme of talks, exhibitions, walks and family events throughout 2016.
Opening this month is 'Place, Time + Architecture', a retrospective exhibition presenting the past, present and future state of architecture and place-making in the Bristol, and features Stanton Williams' design for the House of Fraser store in the city.
