We are honoured to be the first UK practice recognised with a dedicated issue of En Blanco, the official journal of the Department of Architecture at the University of Valencia, Spain.
The aim of this scientific journal is to celebrate outstanding innovations in the field of architecture made with exposed concrete. This issue, no. 24, published in both Spanish/English, includes six case studies of our recent projects (Sainsbury Laboratory, Hackney Marshes Centre, UAL Campus for Central Saint Martins, Britten-Pears Archive, Cambridge Judge Business School and Musée d'arts de Nantes) which celebrate exposed concrete, an interview with our Directors, and an academic essay about our design ethos entitled ‘The Tectonics of Proximity’, written by Lara Rettondini and Oscar Brito.
En Blanco No.24 - Stanton Williams Arquitectura 2010-2018, will shortly be available from the RIBA Bookshop and online.
