To celebrate International Women’s Day on Monday 8th March and the achievement of women in architecture, we are hosting our first ever International Women’s Day Forum.
The forum aims to encourage everyone at Stanton Williams to share their feedback, discuss the inequalities that exist in our profession, and put heads together to think about solutions.
The open forum puts a start to a week of thought-provoking events in celebration of International Women’s Day at Stanton Williams.
Monday 8 March @ 10am – Studio Forum
Our studio meeting in March is being replaced with an open studio forum dedicated to International Women’s Day and the challenges women face in the world of architecture.
We are inviting everyone in the team to join the conversation.
By sharing our diverse experiences and insights, we want to celebrate this day and the achievement of women in architecture, while cast a light on disparities and challenges and try to envision a brighter next chapter together.
What would a future of gender equality look like… and how far ahead does it lie?
Thursday 11 March – Guest talk by Zoe Berman from Part W
Part W is an action group of women campaigning for gender parity across the built environment. Founder Zoe Berman will be discussing Part W and tell us more about the game-changing work they’ve done so far.
Friday 12 March – Inspiring Women Pecha Kucha
A celebration of inspiring women, we invite everyone in our team to submit an image of a woman they have been inspired by, in architecture and beyond. Everyone will have 20 seconds to talk about their inspirational person.
