RIBA Awards 2018: Two projects shortlisted

Two of Stanton Williams’ recent projects, Victoria Hall in King’s Cross and The Mailbox in Birmingham, have been shortlisted respectively for two of this year’s RIBA Regional Awards.

The Mailbox, shortlisted for RIBA West Midlands Awards, was designed to enhance the relationship between different social activities taking place within, and to reinforce the building’s significance within the broader public context of Birmingham’s city centre. See the full shortlist here.

Victoria Hall, shortlisted for RIBA London Awards, predominantly accommodates students of Aga Khan University - Institute for the Study of Muslim Civilisations. The design draws reference from the solidity of the adobe architecture of the Middle East and aims to provide a stimulating and collegiate environment for its students. See the full shortlist here.

Winners of RIBA Regional Awards will be announced at ceremonies in May.
