We are launching another exciting internal event at Stanton Williams – our first Sustainability Festival. Running from 12 April to 14 May, the festival programme will cover weekly interactive workshops, project showcases, CPDs and debates.
“The internal event will focus on knowledge sharing, lessons learnt, conversations about the future of design and ultimately the shift in mindset needed to design in a time of climate emergency. We see the festival as a celebration of what we have learnt so far from our various initiatives such as the Sustainability Think Tank and seminars,” explains Golnaz Ighany, Sustainability Manager.
The Sustainability Festival follows some important studio milestones. Earlier this year Stanton Williams received ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification and at the end of 2020 achieved Carbon Neutral Plus status.
The advanced certification reflects our commitment to continual improvement in accomplishing and demonstrating high environmental performance in everything we do, from pushing the boundaries of our buildings, to reducing the harmful carbon emissions of our daily activities as a practice.
