Stanton Williams' tranformation of the Birmingham retail destination, The Mailbox, has been shortlisted for two major architecture awards - the Blueprint Awards and the innaugural Architects' Journal Awards.
The Architects' Journal have shortlisted the project in the Mixed-Use Building Project of the Year category. The full shortlist can be seen here, and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in December.
Blueprint Magazine selected The Mailbox in the Public Building with Private Funding category in this year's awards. Stanton Williams' recent project, the Musee d'arts de Nantes, was also shortlisted for the awards, being chosed for the Public Building with Public Funding category. The winners will be revealed at a drinks reception in London this October.
