Robert Bird

Robert joined Stanton Williams as Practice Manager in 2013, becoming an Associate in 2016. His role as Practice Manager is broad covering business affairs, legal, finance, human resources, IT and project resourcing. Working closely with the Directors and Associate Directors he manages the business of the board and practice policies. He works with the senior management team to support projects and the winning of new work and maintains an active role with peer practices across HR and finance. Robert promotes positive working relationships by providing formal and informal mentoring across the practice.

Prior to joining Stanton Williams, Robert held practice management posts as Penoyre & Prasad architects and interior design architects David Collins Studio. He moved to the architecture industry after having project managed the construction of new offices and studio for the television production company he worked at, following a period of designing and making furniture.

Robert studied Fine Art at Nottingham Trent University, specialising in photography and sculpture.
